When I reviewed The Showdown Effect back in March, I absolutely loved it. Arrowhead are just great at making silly, fun titles. But within my review was a nagging doubt, the worry that it wouldn’t be able to maintain the necessary population. I was, lamentably, right. It’s bloody hard to get a game these days, but when it happens, it continues to be an absolute blast. Clearly more people just need to jump in.

With that surely in mind, The Showdown Effect is on sale on for next to nothing, and it’s also completely free for the entire weekend. I promise I’ll forgive you for not playing it before if you correct your mistake this weekend.
